Belize has all-inclusive resorts, but they are usually smaller boutique properties, private-island resorts and jungle lodges rather than large mega-resorts. Belize has relatively few all-inclusive properties, with many located on small cayes, in Hopkins, along the Placencia Peninsula or inland in the jungle. The six examples below show the range of options available.

Are Belize's Resorts Truly All-Inclusive?
Some Belize resorts are truly all-inclusive, but the package does not cover the same things at every property. One resort may include local drinks and non-motorized water sports, while another may include airport transfers, guided adventures or boat transportation.
Before booking, check whether the package includes:
- Alcohol and the brands available
- Airport, airstrip or boat transfers
- Excursions such as snorkeling, diving or cave tours
- Spa treatments and premium dining
- Taxes, service charges and gratuities
- Meals at every restaurant or only selected menus
Royal Belize includes local drinks and equipment but lists premium alcohol, spa services and off-island tours separately. Bocawina includes a range of jungle activities but excludes alcohol.
Is Belize a Good Choice for an All-Inclusive Vacation?
Belize is a good choice if you want a smaller resort combined with snorkeling, diving, jungle activities or local culture. It is less suitable if you want a large Caribbean resort complex with dozens of restaurants, extensive nightlife and a standardized chain-resort experience.
For a beach and reef vacation, look at Ambergris Caye. For a boutique beachfront stay, consider Placencia. For nature and adventure, choose a jungle lodge such as Bocawina. For privacy, choose a private-island resort such as Royal Belize.
